How do I register for an Unmetered Client account?

When you register for an Unmetered Client account, you can view your bill, make payments, change your services online!

  1. Visit the registration page.
  2. Complete the registration form.
  3. Submit and Log In to start managing your Unmetered Client account in the Client Area.

How do I Register or Change a Credit Card to my Unmetered Client account?

You can register a credit card or Visa Debit® to your Unmetered Client account with convenience. Manage your account worry-free by setting up pre-authorization or using self serve for manual payments.

  1. Log in to the Unmetered Client Area. If you have you logged in through the info site, Unmetered.ca, click "Client Area" below your "Credit Balance".
  2. Click "Account" on the left sidebar.
  3. Click "Credit Card" and Register your credit card by following the prompts to provide it's details.
  4. Wait for the confirmation that your credit card registration was successful.
 

How do I edit my account information?

You can edit your saved information online within the Client Area.

  1. Log in to the Unmetered Client Area. If you have you logged in through the info site, Unmetered.ca, click "Client Area" below your "Credit Balance".
  2. Click "Account" on the left sidebar.
  3. Click "Edit Details".
  4. Changes can be made to:
    • Email Address
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Address Line 1
    • Address Line 2
    • City
    • Province/State
    • Country
    • Account Type
    • Mobile Phone Number
  5. Submit Changes once completed. Page will refresh when complete.
 

How do I edit my account information?

You can update your password within the Client Area.

  1. Log in to the Unmetered Client Area. If you have you logged in through the info site, Unmetered.ca, click "Client Area" below your "Credit Balance".
  2. Click "Account" on the left sidebar.
  3. Click "Change Password".
  4. Input Old Password, Input New Password
  5. Confirm that it is correct
  6. Save Changes
 

How do I allow only certain IPs access to my Unmetered Client account?

You can set IP rules to allow access from certain IPs only within the Client Area.

  1. Log in to the Unmetered Client Area. If you have you logged in through the info site, Unmetered.ca, click "Client Area" below your "Credit Balance".
  2. Click "Account" on the left sidebar.
  3. Click "Security".
  4. Input the IP addresses in which you would like to lock access to and Click "Add allowed IP/range".
  5. Please note:
    • No IP rules set will Allow access from all IPs.
    • If you do not set an IP that you are currently using you may be locked out of your account until an Unmetered representative has verified the situation.
  • Example rules:
  • 120.123.123.57/28 matches IP from 120.123.123.48 to 120.123.123.63
  • 120.123.123.57/16 matches IP from 120.123.0.0 to 120.123.255.255
  • Rule formats:
  • all - keyword matching all IPs
  • xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - Single IP
  • xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/M - IP with Mask in CIDR format
  • xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/mmm.mmm.mmm.mmm
  • IP with Mask in dotted quad format
 

How do I Add Funds to my Credit Balance?

You can Add Funds within the Client Area.

  1. Log in to the Unmetered Client Area. If you have you logged in through the info site, Unmetered.ca, click "Client Area" below your "Credit Balance".
  2. Click "Account" on the left sidebar.
  3. Click "Add Funds".
  4. Input the amount you would like to add and choose a gateway method.
  5. Gateway Methods Include:
    • PayPal
    • American Express / Discover / MasterCard / Visa
    • Interac E-Transfer
    • BitPay.com (BitCoin)
 

How do I view my old or unpaid Invoices?

You can view previous or pay unpaid invoices within the Client Area.

  1. Log in to the Unmetered Client Area. If you have you logged in through the info site, Unmetered.ca, click "Client Area" below your "Credit Balance".
  2. Click "Account" on the left sidebar.
  3. Click "Invoices".
 
 

How do I see what Emails I have been sent from Unmetered Client Area?

You can view emails that you been sent from the Unmetered Client Area within the Client Area.

  1. Log in to the Unmetered Client Area. If you have you logged in through the info site, Unmetered.ca, click "Client Area" below your "Credit Balance".
  2. Click "Account" on the left sidebar.
  3. Click "Emails".
 
 

How do I view my account history or account activity log?

You can view your accounts activity within the Client Area.

  1. Log in to the Unmetered Client Area. If you have you logged in through the info site, Unmetered.ca, click "Client Area" below your "Credit Balance".
  2. Click "Account" on the left sidebar.
  3. Click "Logs".
